STANDARD PROCESS SUPPLEMENTS

Nancy Clark, L.Ap

“Maintaining order rather than correcting disorder is the ultimate principle of wisdom. To cure disease after it has appeared is like digging a well when one is thirsty, or forging weapons after the war has already begun.”

— The Nei Jing, 2nd Century B.C

This ancient philosophy is what first inspired my path as a Miami acupuncturist and practitioner of Chinese Medicine. Over the years, I have come to believe that when we align with our own natural balance, we align more deeply with all of nature. These principles guide both my personal life and the care I provide to my patients every day.

I opened my acupuncture practice in North Miami’s Sans Souci Plaza in 1999 after completing a four-year program in Chinese Medicine at the Community School of Traditional Chinese Healthcare in North Miami. After the plaza was sold in 2025, I relocated to a nearby office and created a more intimate healing environment that continues to serve my patients beautifully.

For more than 27 years, I have worked as a Miami acupuncturist helping patients address both recent and long-standing health concerns. My focus is always on resolving imbalances as efficiently and naturally as possible while supporting the body’s innate healing ability.

Patients often seek acupuncture treatment for:

  • Chronic and acute pain
  • Hormonal imbalance and menopause support
  • Fertility and reproductive health
  • Anxiety, stress, and depression
  • Digestive disorders
  • Fatigue and nervous system imbalance
  • Inflammation and immune support
  • Overall wellness and preventative care

Because every patient is unique, I use different styles of acupuncture or combine techniques depending on the complexity of the condition being treated. I may also recommend herbal medicine, nutritional support, or supplements, particularly for digestive and hormonal concerns.

My Journey Into Chinese Medicine

My journey into Chinese Medicine began after being diagnosed with a moderately severe case of ulcerative colitis at age 36. After being prescribed prednisone and long-term medications, I unexpectedly reconnected with my second cousin, Kevin Clark, a practitioner of Chinese Medicine who lived only minutes away from me for years without my knowing it.

Through acupuncture and natural medicine, my health improved dramatically, and I never needed medication again. That experience changed the course of my life and inspired me to study Chinese Medicine professionally so I could help others experience the same possibility for healing.

I graduated in 1997 from the Community School of Traditional Chinese Healthcare in North Miami after completing a rigorous four-year academic program and over 1,200 clinical hours. I later became licensed after passing the NCCAOM Board Exams for Acupuncture and earned my Injection Therapy Certification in 2002 at the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale.

Continuing Education & Advanced Training

As a lifelong learner, I have continued studying with respected teachers and master acupuncturists throughout my career. My continuing education includes training with renowned practitioners and educators including:

  • Richard Tan
  • Jeffrey Yuen
  • Giovanni Maciocia
  • Kiko Matsumoto
  • Lonny Jarrett
  • Jeff Nagel

I continue to expand my knowledge through advanced seminars in acupuncture, nutrition, injection therapy, herbal medicine, and integrative healing approaches so I can better serve my patients with thoughtful, personalized care.

Whether you are seeking relief from pain, hormonal imbalance, digestive issues, emotional stress, or simply looking for a more holistic approach to wellness, my goal as a Miami acupuncturist is to help you restore balance, vitality, and long-term well-being.
