Pain Relief
What we treat
To better understand how Pain Relief is achieved with Acupuncture, we must take a look at our Nervous System.
The Nervous System is comparable to the common material known as plastic. Meaning it designed to change, adapt, and restructure itself. As a result, new pain pathways are formed and can become embedded.
Acupuncture and its direct effect on the Nervous System have the ability to unwind and intervene in embedded pathways. Thus stimulating and awakening the biological form of electricity, otherwise referred to as Qi, to restore equilibrium.
Furthermore, the Nervous System’s natural ability to heal and organize is stimulated, allowing for healing pathways to take place.
Therefore, musculoskeletal pain especially of the neck and back, sciatica, joint pain, tendonitis, bursitis, neuropathy, dental pain, sports injuries, and more, generally respond very well to Acupuncture.
For recent trauma and injuries, topical herbal treatments and poultices may be added for optimal effectiveness.
